"You sure you're going to be okay?" Trever asked Kale. He wanted to reach up and brush some hair from his twin's face... but that would have been wrong. They were trying to be separate.
"I'll be fine, promise. I'm not going to leave the house. Tobias and I'll be fine. I promise," Kale said, looking a bit wistful. He wanted to go too. But... he couldn't. Too dangerous. The last thing they needed was for something to trigger off Kale turning into something like Nihilus.
Trever hesitated and then gave Kale a hug. Hugs were safe. Kale hugged him back. "I'll miss you."
"Me too."
"Right, okay. I'll try and keep you updated as often as possible."
"Good. Now go on. Shoo."
Trever stuck his tongue out, but left to find Axis. It felt weird going to find their father body or alive. He didn't know which would be worse.

Date: 2007-12-01 05:27 pm (UTC)"She's gonna ground me." He doesn't seem to be too happy about the up-coming meeting. "Oh... we're going to have to land outside the farm and walk in. Unless you want my mom to shoot us."

Date: 2007-12-01 09:02 pm (UTC)He chuckles. "You'll be fine." And he gives the top of the console an affectionate pat. "This baby's too pretty to get dinged up. Walking isn't a problem."

Date: 2007-12-02 07:40 am (UTC)"Yeah." He probably has. But that doesn't stop him from missing it.

no subject
Date: 2007-12-02 05:51 pm (UTC)"No one ever required the student to like the teacher. I'm told that Malak disliked his Jedi teacher, Vrook, but he still learned from him."

Date: 2007-12-02 06:04 pm (UTC)"It's not a matter of like or dislike ... so much as 'he tried to kill me and what if he does it again to prevent me from becoming like Nihilus?' that's bothering Kale." Trever thinks that's a perfectly reasonable worry.

Date: 2007-12-02 06:20 pm (UTC)"I can't say for certain, but did he consider that Rev'ika knew that that wasn't going to kill him? And I think if anyone would be worried about Kale turning into Nihilus, it'd be Tobias."

Date: 2007-12-02 06:43 pm (UTC)"How would he know it wouldn't have killed Kale? It killed those Jedi Masters."

Date: 2007-12-02 09:07 pm (UTC)They've already gotten through the portal. "Couple minutes," Axis replies as he puts the controls back on manual. "We aren't going to get shot of orbit, are we?"

Date: 2007-12-02 09:18 pm (UTC)Trever laughs at that. "No, we're not. The Empire holds the planet... but I know the codes to get through."
