Nov. 30th, 2007 04:51 pm"You sure you're going to be okay?" Trever asked Kale. He wanted to reach up and brush some hair from his twin's face... but that would have been wrong. They were trying to be separate.
"I'll be fine, promise. I'm not going to leave the house. Tobias and I'll be fine. I promise," Kale said, looking a bit wistful. He wanted to go too. But... he couldn't. Too dangerous. The last thing they needed was for something to trigger off Kale turning into something like Nihilus.
Trever hesitated and then gave Kale a hug. Hugs were safe. Kale hugged him back. "I'll miss you."
"Me too."
"Right, okay. I'll try and keep you updated as often as possible."
"Good. Now go on. Shoo."
Trever stuck his tongue out, but left to find Axis. It felt weird going to find their father body or alive. He didn't know which would be worse.
