"You sure you're going to be okay?" Trever asked Kale. He wanted to reach up and brush some hair from his twin's face... but that would have been wrong. They were trying to be separate.

"I'll be fine, promise. I'm not going to leave the house. Tobias and I'll be fine. I promise," Kale said, looking a bit wistful. He wanted to go too. But... he couldn't. Too dangerous. The last thing they needed was for something to trigger off Kale turning into something like Nihilus.

Trever hesitated and then gave Kale a hug. Hugs were safe. Kale hugged him back. "I'll miss you."

"Me too."

"Right, okay. I'll try and keep you updated as often as possible."

"Good. Now go on. Shoo."

Trever stuck his tongue out, but left to find Axis. It felt weird going to find their father body or alive. He didn't know which would be worse.

He settles one shoulder against the alley wall, watching him calmly. "Don't waste your anger here, it'd be more useful against Kree'sha," he growls."

It takes him a moment but he calms down. "Right, okay. Spaceport."

He nods. "Spaceport. If we can get logs of departures for the ships that came through that day, we'll be that much closer to finding your father."

Trever is starting to wonder if this was a good idea or not. But he nods and starts off towards the spaceport, this time with his more customary sort of slouch.

Well, it was Trever's idea. Axis won't mind turning this investigative-boat around if he asks. John takes the lead now, at the head of their little group with Axis walking next to Trever.

No, he's going to see it through. He started it. He told his mother that he was going to do it. To turn back now would be giving up. And he's not going to do that.

"What did you think of my mother?" he asks Axis.

"Your mother?" Axis smiles slightly. "She reminds me a little of my wife, gods rest her. She tried to shoot me the first time we met, too."

He laughs. "She didn't do that when she met my dad. Just cheat on him in a Sabac game." He scratches his head. "Dad says it was her way of trying to pick him up."

He chuckles. "Well, cheating at Sabbacc, getting into a shootout, same difference, right?" he jokes. Still, an odd way to meet, that.

Well, he just met Trever's mother. "That happened after the cheating," he says idly. "But not against my dad. The other guy at the table who she also cheated on. She said that the way he defended her was very romantic."

Strange family, the Delvars are.

This is true. He raises his eyebrows. "Really now?"

"Yes. Apparently something about cutting a dashing figure with a pair of lightsabers. And then he gave her to the cops for cheating. She was so impressed with this, offered to work with him when she got out." He shoves his hands in his pockets. "It went from there."

He chuckles. "Odd way to meet. Interesting, but odd." (Though truthfully, the thought of seeing a Jedi like that disgusts him and makes his spine crawl, but that's niether here nor there.) He looks forward again, to see how far's left to the spaceport.

What would be "Like that"? Not that Trever knows he's thinking that. They're almost there.

"So, how are we going to do this?"

Uh, romantically? Axis hates Jedi with a fiery passion, remember? Oh, good.

"Kriff all if I know."

Oh, right. Yes. And yet he hangs out with so many of them.

"I could try and slice in... or we could do the Sith Lord thing again."

He's always counted Revan as a Sith and Dann as a Mandalorian; he only hangs out with Tobias and the Twins because he can't seem to not.

"How good are you at slicing, first off?" He'd like to keep the Sith Lord thing as a contingency plan.

Well the Twins could hardly be considered Jedi. They're too confused on that end. They're more gray side than anything else.

"Pretty good. Not as good as Kale, but still good." He grins. "I managed to get passcodes from Kree'sha."

Still, he has very conventional (and old) ideas about the Jedi-Sith thing; they're either Jedi or they're Sith, with exception for the other branches.

He raises his eyebrows. "Really? As long as she can't trace us back through them, I say go for the slicing."

Trever's probably more Sith than Jedi...

"They're real general passwords, all the Emperor's Force Users at a certain level get them, so it's highly unlikely that they can trace it back to me." He grins. "It's how we got in here."

He stops for a moment and presses his nose against the window of a speeder shop. "Kale would like that for our birthday. Shame we don't have the time." And then he continues on their way.

He grins. "I gathered as much. And good; the last thing we need is to get caught. We'll try the slicing first, then."

He peers at the speeder for a moment or two, memorizing how it looks before continuing on. Maybe he and Toby and Rev could pool funds to get it for him jointly...

"Just get me to a computer terminal..." Trever says as they enter the Spaceport.

Kale and Trever would be very surprised if that happened. Very, very, very surprised.

"Such as that one?" John says, nodding in the direction of a terminal.

Hey, as much as Revan dislikes the Twins, Axis is by far more stubborn than he.

Trever smiles. "Yes, that'll do. Just keep watch for me?" He goes over to the terminal and rolls his use computer skill check starts convince the system that he has every right to be in there.

Yes, well the Twins were under the impression that Axis only had a mild tolerance for them.

So, what is he going to get Trever?

Oh, Axis is terribly good at this part. John is too, but less in an obviously guarding way than in a blending in and watching way.

Well, he does. That doesn't mean he won't give them presents. You give extended family presents, period, and they're family.

Now that would be telling, wouldn't it?
