Crap.

Shit.

Fuck.

I don't want to be a seer.

Kale and I were always exploring the hills behind the farm. We weren't allowed into town so that only really left the hills and speeder bikes when we were done with our chores on the farm. The hills were nice. They were filled with caves and all sorts of things to explore. We had this one hidey hole cave that was our spot. We brought in blankets and pillows, snacky sorts of foods. We had books and holovids. On top of the cave we could lay down and see the entire plains leading out to the city including ships coming in. At least with binoculars.

We were fifteen, fourteen at the time, I don't really remember, but we were outside, lazing in the sun having finished watching some of the Twi'leck porn we "borrowed" from our older brother Naldin, and talking about sex like two normal teenage boys do. The thing is we'd never really met anyone our age before and it didn't seem like we would be.

But he was there and I was there and we decided to see what it was like. We didn't think much about it because, I'm him and he's me (Complicated story there) and if we're the same person then how could it be wrong? We sort of knew it was wrong, that there were taboos in society that said it was wrong, but it didn't feel wrong. It felt right. Like two halves finally meeting and becoming one. Like we were finally complete. Finally whole.

How could we stop after that?

I know it'll bother some of you to hear this, but that's what it is. That's who we are.

For a less bothersome kiss, Tobias had asked me up to talk about why I was being so hostile to him. We talked for a bit and then I kissed him. He was very shocked. But he's easy to shock. It's kinda fun.

The twins escort Murphy to a derelict military base that looked to be in the process of being repaired. Mounted on the walls were several new blaster canons that looked menacingly out at any intruders. But in contrast this menacing scene were several children, the oldest being about ten, playing out in front with a woman watching them and holding a baby. Everyone had red hair. Different shades, but all red.

"We told our mom that you'd be coming," Trever said, hands in his pockets.

"Of course, dad may have already let her know before hand," Kale finished.
hidden_sith: (Full front)
Two days before it actually happened, Calenvir punched Revan, breaking his nose, saying, "You bastard! You got my wife pregnant!"
hidden_sith: (Sad)
Trever let the tiny kitten gnaw on his fingers as he stroked it with his other hand. Or her. Zina, or Darth Zina as he called her. Tobias didn't like the Darth part. But she belonged to him, so he could call her whatever he wanted to. The little black kitten with large amber eyes somehow knew the difference between him and Kale. Perhaps by the way they smelled or perhaps because it could sense Kale's lack of connection to the Force. He figured it was more the former than the latter. Though Kale did feel wrong.

Which hurt him. It hurt to be near him.

He knew it didn't hurt Tobias, because they were the same. Both cut off from the Force.

Still, he wanted to be held by Kale. Wanted to hold Kale. Let him tell him everything would be all right. Tell him that everything would be all right. But he knew that it wasn't true. That they were separated. Individuals now. Even if they did have their moments. But that was only resonance. An echo. An old habit. Of knowing the other so well that they could predict the other's behavior. They were just pretending, really. Not that they told anyone that.

They just smiled and pretended that everything was okay.

And now he had a kitten that liked him and not Kale. That followed him around, except when attacking Tobias' ankles. It was strange to have something he couldn't share with his brother. Or wouldn't be shared.

Somehow, he was glad about that.
hidden_sith: (Surprised)
Trever looked at Kale who looked back at him. Surrounding them were family. Family they didn't know existed. Family they were meeting for the first time. Great aunts and uncles, cousins of all sorts, even a great grandmother who took pride in how much they looked like their great grandfather. Stories flew back and forth, as they made the compound their mother found into a home. A few of the disliked having to move, but Calenvir prevailed. The Jedi had become the head of the Delvar family, everyone deferring to him and his judgment.

Annalia ran up to them, tugging on Trever's hand. "Come! Come! Want to play!" She favored Trever more than Kale because Kale 'felt funny' and she dragged the unwilling twin away from his brother. "Play! You be Sith!"

Kale had to laugh at that one as Trever gave him a backwards glance looking for help. Kale merely waved at his brother.

Trever took the toy lightsaber shoved into his hands by the young girl who the proceeded to whack him on the shins going, "Die Sith! DIE!!" The irony of the attack didn't miss Trever at all. Only a few people knew of his Sith training. The heads of houses, the ones with the most influence with the others.

He didn't feel guilty about it, as he lightly tapped Annalia on the head with his toy 'saber. It was what he was. He knew that he couldn't be a Jedi, that would have been Kale, if he could still use the Force. Light and dark. Two sides of the same coin. He glanced over to where Kale watched him, an amused look on his face. Trever sent a shot of annoyance down their barely there link which made Kale smile even wider.

Glowering, he leaned down and whispered to Annalia that she should get Kale too, because if they were twins, he was a Sith Spawn too. She smiled and with a long yell that startled several of the adults, she whammed her toy into Kale's arm. He gave a startled yelp as Trever laughed.

"I killed you both!" Annalia cried triumphantly before running off to try and kill someone else.

Trever glanced over at Kale, smiling. Perhaps family wouldn't be so bad after all.

"You sure you're going to be okay?" Trever asked Kale. He wanted to reach up and brush some hair from his twin's face... but that would have been wrong. They were trying to be separate.

"I'll be fine, promise. I'm not going to leave the house. Tobias and I'll be fine. I promise," Kale said, looking a bit wistful. He wanted to go too. But... he couldn't. Too dangerous. The last thing they needed was for something to trigger off Kale turning into something like Nihilus.

Trever hesitated and then gave Kale a hug. Hugs were safe. Kale hugged him back. "I'll miss you."

"Me too."

"Right, okay. I'll try and keep you updated as often as possible."

"Good. Now go on. Shoo."

Trever stuck his tongue out, but left to find Axis. It felt weird going to find their father body or alive. He didn't know which would be worse.

And they went to Trever's time. To Trever's Jedi Temple. They came during the night, only a few lights lit up the once beautiful building, casting it into dark shadows. Trever had his hands in his pockets as he looked at Tobias. They were at the foot of the Temple, at the bottom of the stairs where the clone troopers and Vader had marched inside to slaughter everyone inside. Sometimes, Trever thought he could see the bloodstains of the fallen.

"Up there. In there. They're waiting for me," he said softly.
hidden_sith: (mad)
There was Trever and there was Kale. Two when there used to be one. He had to keep on telling himself that. That Kale wasn't him anymore. And he wasn't Kale. He sat hunched on the bed, arms around his knees watching his brother sleep. That's all Kale seemed to do now. Sleep. They had to wake him up to eat and take him to the bathroom. Give him baths so he'd stay clean. It wasn't, Trever knew, because he knew Kale better than anyone, even if they had been cut off, it wasn't because he was a vegetable, he just didn't care. He couldn't make the effort, didn't want to be bothered with the effort. He just wanted to go away and the only way he could go was inside.

Sometimes he felt Kale stirring mentally, before curling away from, back inside himself. Trever didn't really know what to do. Sometimes he couldn't stand to be near Kale. Other times he couldn't leave him. Now was one of those times.

He wanted to curl up next to him, arms around him, burying his head in his hair. But Kale flinched so badly, like a dog afraid of being beaten, even in his sleep, that he didn't touch him. Instead he watched the shallow rise and fall of Kale's chest and tried to figure out what being Trever and not Trever and Kale meant.

He knew that he had more inclination to animals than machines. And more dark side tendencies. (Tendencies that were gnawing at him now, his old Master's voice whispering in his mind, telling him to come back.) He tended to be more aggressive than Kale, he knew that too.

But other things blurred between them. Foods that they liked, activities, Tobias. He didn't think that he could have liked Tobias. He didn't think that he liked Tobias. The man, even before he hurt Kale, seemed wrong.

Like Kale felt. He shifted and got off the bed. One hand trailing along the wall, he walked through the house until he reached the workshop he and Kale had set up. Going inside he could see the droid they had been building. He didn't know whose idea it was to build the droid. Perhaps both of theirs. But now it lay half finished, broken.

Like Kale.

Anger welled in him and he gave the droid a hard kick, sending its head spinning across the room. He wanted to do something. To take his revenge against someone. Against Revan... but he knew that it would be futile, the man would kill him easily. Against Tobias, but was it really his fault? And what would Kale say? So, he turned his attentions to the rest of the droid, tearing it apart with his hands and the Force, swinging pieces away from him, not even watching as they crashed into the other machines around him. He screamed out his frustration and anger and helplessness, not in words for there were no words but in throat rawing noise.

When the room had been completely wrecked, Trever sank the floor breathing heavily, his throat sore from yelling. Trembling, he wrapped his arms around his knees, trying not to cry.

So much for the Light Side, hrmmm? the voice purred in Trever's mind as he stared at the droid he and Kale had been making before everything happened. They took away your other half. The other half of your soul. The other part of your being.

Trever didn't answer it. He just picked up a part and put it down. Picked up another one and put it down as well. Kale wouldn't leave the bedroom and he couldn't stand to be near him, looking like that, unable to feel him. Unable to know him.

He promised that he wouldn't hurt Kale. That he cared about him. He must have been jealous of the two of you. How close you were. He wanted to take him away from you, make him like him. A hole. A nothing. Empty. Such a poor, poor excuse.

"Can't do anything about it."

Not here, you can't.

He paused, one hand over a spanner.

"What do you mean..." he asked softly.

Isn't it funny  the voice said,  that your so-called Master is also torn from the Force and yet he can use it?

"I... never thought of that." He picked up the hydrospannar and looked at it and then looked over a the door to the rest of the house.

The voice turned smug, You can have him back. It's possible. I can show you.

"Maybe..."

You just need to come back. And then the two of us will fix everything.

Trever leads Revan back to the house, nervous and twitchy. He hasn't told Tobias about Kale being missing, though he supposes that the Jedi knows. He pushes into the house and goes into the room the two have them commandeered for their workshop.

"There. He was there."
