"You sure you're going to be okay?" Trever asked Kale. He wanted to reach up and brush some hair from his twin's face... but that would have been wrong. They were trying to be separate.
"I'll be fine, promise. I'm not going to leave the house. Tobias and I'll be fine. I promise," Kale said, looking a bit wistful. He wanted to go too. But... he couldn't. Too dangerous. The last thing they needed was for something to trigger off Kale turning into something like Nihilus.
Trever hesitated and then gave Kale a hug. Hugs were safe. Kale hugged him back. "I'll miss you."
"Me too."
"Right, okay. I'll try and keep you updated as often as possible."
"Good. Now go on. Shoo."
Trever stuck his tongue out, but left to find Axis. It felt weird going to find their father body or alive. He didn't know which would be worse.

"It's my mother. She's scary." He's still being cheerful.

"Mandalorian," he reminds him cooly. "And what's got you all perky?"
no subject
"Mmhmm..." And then, "I'm going home... I haven't been home in ages it seems like. I miss it."
no subject
He smiles. "See, it's not going to be that bad. You'll get to go back, for a while at least." Though you might find you've outgrown it, he doesn't say.
no subject
"Yeah." He probably has. But that doesn't stop him from missing it.

"I didn't hear it directly," he says with a slight smile. "The teacher might be willing... but the student is still hurt."
no subject
"No one ever required the student to like the teacher. I'm told that Malak disliked his Jedi teacher, Vrook, but he still learned from him."
no subject
"It's not a matter of like or dislike ... so much as 'he tried to kill me and what if he does it again to prevent me from becoming like Nihilus?' that's bothering Kale." Trever thinks that's a perfectly reasonable worry.
no subject
"I can't say for certain, but did he consider that Rev'ika knew that that wasn't going to kill him? And I think if anyone would be worried about Kale turning into Nihilus, it'd be Tobias."
no subject
"How would he know it wouldn't have killed Kale? It killed those Jedi Masters."

"How much longer? D'you think?"

They've already gotten through the portal. "Couple minutes," Axis replies as he puts the controls back on manual. "We aren't going to get shot of orbit, are we?"
no subject
Trever laughs at that. "No, we're not. The Empire holds the planet... but I know the codes to get through."

He mutters something to John, who nods and slinks off again.

He watches the scenery with a bit of a smile, resisting the urge to point out places he recognizes.

He sets the Ebon Hawk down once he finds a good spot. "You ready for this?"
no subject
He takes a deep breath and nods. "Ready as I'll ever be."
Though there's a twitch of a smile on his face, as though he knows something Axis doesn't.

He finishes locking down the ship, going so far as to lock down the star charts and everything else, before getting up. "Let's get going, then."
no subject
Trever stretches a bit before getting out of the seat to walk out of the ship. He'll wait for Axis and John (if he's coming) to catch up before setting out towards the farm, hands in his pockets, that smile on his face.
no subject
Axis does catch up, talking quietly with John (possibly even finalizing battle/retreat plans based on the landscape) as they walk. John changed into a breastplate, shinguards, and gauntlets, with a pair of blaster pistols at his side. He almost looks like he belongs here.
no subject
Trever only half listens to what Axis and John are talking about, apparently not at all worried about what's up ahead. It doesn't take long before the buildings are in sight.
