"You sure you're going to be okay?" Trever asked Kale. He wanted to reach up and brush some hair from his twin's face... but that would have been wrong. They were trying to be separate.

"I'll be fine, promise. I'm not going to leave the house. Tobias and I'll be fine. I promise," Kale said, looking a bit wistful. He wanted to go too. But... he couldn't. Too dangerous. The last thing they needed was for something to trigger off Kale turning into something like Nihilus.

Trever hesitated and then gave Kale a hug. Hugs were safe. Kale hugged him back. "I'll miss you."

"Me too."

"Right, okay. I'll try and keep you updated as often as possible."

"Good. Now go on. Shoo."

Trever stuck his tongue out, but left to find Axis. It felt weird going to find their father body or alive. He didn't know which would be worse.

Well the Twins could hardly be considered Jedi. They're too confused on that end. They're more gray side than anything else.

"Pretty good. Not as good as Kale, but still good." He grins. "I managed to get passcodes from Kree'sha."

Still, he has very conventional (and old) ideas about the Jedi-Sith thing; they're either Jedi or they're Sith, with exception for the other branches.

He raises his eyebrows. "Really? As long as she can't trace us back through them, I say go for the slicing."

Trever's probably more Sith than Jedi...

"They're real general passwords, all the Emperor's Force Users at a certain level get them, so it's highly unlikely that they can trace it back to me." He grins. "It's how we got in here."

He stops for a moment and presses his nose against the window of a speeder shop. "Kale would like that for our birthday. Shame we don't have the time." And then he continues on their way.

He grins. "I gathered as much. And good; the last thing we need is to get caught. We'll try the slicing first, then."

He peers at the speeder for a moment or two, memorizing how it looks before continuing on. Maybe he and Toby and Rev could pool funds to get it for him jointly...

"Just get me to a computer terminal..." Trever says as they enter the Spaceport.

Kale and Trever would be very surprised if that happened. Very, very, very surprised.

"Such as that one?" John says, nodding in the direction of a terminal.

Hey, as much as Revan dislikes the Twins, Axis is by far more stubborn than he.

Trever smiles. "Yes, that'll do. Just keep watch for me?" He goes over to the terminal ~~and rolls his use computer skill check~~ starts convince the system that he has every right to be in there.

Yes, well the Twins were under the impression that Axis only had a mild tolerance for them.

So, what is he going to get Trever?

Oh, Axis is terribly good at this part. John is too, but less in an obviously guarding way than in a blending in and watching way.

Well, he does. That doesn't mean he won't give them presents. You give extended family presents, period, and they're family.

Now that would be telling, wouldn't it?

Trever hopes no one notices John's obviously guarding way. Fortunately the information he wants isn't too deeply secure and he also goes about trying to access the security cameras from that day.

They're family now? How'd that one happen?

Yes, it probably would be. =(

Don't worry, he knows guard-casual, he's just used to guard-obvious. John's the only one with guard-sneaky.

They're family by virtue of meaning something to Tobias, who Revan had adopted as a brother once upon a time.

It's something good.

As Trever is being careful, it takes him a bit to get the information wanted. But when he does, he turns his head and says, "Look at this." It's a security cam feed showing Kree'sha and Calenvir walking through the spaceport. She's got her arm around him and he doesn't look happy at all.

So they are grandkids! He should take a greater interest in them so that they don't end up Jedi. XD

Axis half-turns to look at the feed. John has been surrepticiously peering since Trever started fiddling with it. "That looks like your father, all right," John murmurs.
"And he looks like he's just been blackmailed," Axis adds with a snort. "My kin have gotten the same looks on their faces when someone threatened their ade."

Nope, nope. They'll survive with just a passing interest. Besides, one of them doesn't have the Force for it, and with the way that Trever mimicked being a Sith Lord...

Grunting, Trever flipped through the database, occasionally glancing up at the cam shot of his father. "There... flight plan..." And then he shook his head. "Dromund Kaas. Should have guessed."

Maybe Trever should go to Revan then for lessons in the Force.

"Tobias mentioned that world. Old Sith stronghold, right?" At least they'll have someone who knows his way around with them, right? "If it's our next stop, we outta get headed that way."

"The faster we get gone, the less information the local authorities will have if they come looking for us," John mumurs. "I hope that doesn't log keystrokes or something."

"The Emperor uses it to train his Force users now." Oh yes. Trever spent time there, he did. He actually came from there when he hit the Nexus, he did. "Give me a second to clear my tracks and we can go."

He types in a few more commands and then, "I'm out. We can go."

"So we'll have to get by a bunch of a trained and half-trained Force-sensitives." Just like the old days, for Axis. "We'll discuss plans on the way there. Right now, we should be getting back to the swoops." He jerks his head slightly to motion them out before heading for the exit.

John'll take up walking beside Trever now.

Trever is starting to wonder if they're keeping an eye on him, though he doesn't say anything. Instead he adopts that swagger again, almost unconsciously. It's probably because he's thinking about going back there, where he trained, and who he'll run into and how he'll have to act.

Or perhaps he's just letting go of the Light Side mask.

Axis makes it a point to keep an eye on most of the Force-users he knows about; otherwise he might not be so involved with his son and his son's alternate and their Jedi and Sith buddies. John, on the other hand, is just suspicious of everyone.

Axis makes note of that swagger from the corner of his eye but doesn't comment. John notices from his position beside him and thinks Trever looks disturbingly like his uncle when he does that.

Trever has no idea who John's uncle is. However the mun thinks they can skip over the drive back and get into the ship (with dinner packed by Talia, and a few more goodies).

This is quite likely true. (And oh, dinner. Thank the Force for mothers).

Axis will likely explain what they figured out to Talia while John gets the swoop back into the Hawk's garage. He will certainly NOT mention how they obtained their information, but will advise her to be cautious for at least a couple weeks - he figures they did a bang-up job covering their tracks, but thinks that careful is the best way to do this anyway.

Talia almost decides to come with them, but will stay on the farm and will be careful, of course.

(Of course dinner. She can't let her little boy go hungry, now can she?)

Axis figures that her coming might be bad, if Calenvir's changed in any way, at any rate; who wants to see the person they love the most go Dark Side, after all.

(No, no she can't.)

She took Trever fairly well. (Mind you she'd ground him for a month and beat the Dark Side out of him if she could.)

So. Ship. Flying. Trever taps his fingers nervously on the control panel as he stares out into space. "I think we can explain me easily enough going to Kass, but what about you and John?"

Yes flying. And hyperspace and things. "I think it would be best if I stayed on the ship," John says. "It might be easier to explain just one of us to them than explaining both."

"Still have to figure out what a Jedi-killing Mando'ad bounty hunter would be doing accompanying him," Axis points out.

"Oh, we -they- employ those," Trever says, correcting himself. "Go after remaining Jedi and finding other Force users. Things like that. We could probably say you're with me because picking up Kale turned up to be harder than I thought..."
