Trever leads Revan back to the house, nervous and twitchy. He hasn't told Tobias about Kale being missing, though he supposes that the Jedi knows. He pushes into the house and goes into the room the two have them commandeered for their workshop.

"There. He was there."

"If you go in there, both of you will be hurt, and then what, huh?" Revan lets go to let Trever go to the floor, wearily shielding both of them, though he can dimmly feel the echo thrumming through the gaping hole that had been his bond with Tobias long ago.

"Finish it," he mumbles under his breath, gazing at the door.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I wish I didn't have to, I wish I didn't do it, I'm sorry."

The pain and the feeling ebbs out, a wave petering out on the shore, and Tobias feels it receed to the same echo and stillness he's lived with for years.

Obviously, then the question would be why did he do it?

But that's neither here nor there. Kale grips Tobias so hard, the Jedi Master is going to have bruises. He shudders deeply and then his grip weakens and he sags completely, going exceptionally still.

Not dead.

His breathing is shallow though.

On the other side of the door, Trever does the same.

Revan checks Trever's breathing before picking him up and going back over to the door and opening it. "Time to take them home, Tobias. Get up." Somehow he manages to look and sound like the commander of the Republic army... or the Dark Lord of the Sith.

Tobias glares at him, but slowly rises to his feet, holding Kale as best he can. "This is your fault," he growls, "just take us back to the Nexus; I'll care for them."
